We love working with universities and academic institutions to help orient important conversations and connect stakeholders in their communities, so when The University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics reached out to us, we were thrilled!

When Covid-19 shifted our programming to be completely virtual, UChicago and Inclusivv saw an opportunity to collaborate to build connections across differences and reflect the values and ethos of the Institute of Politics, a nonpartisan organization at the University of Chicago which “aims to inspire and cultivate the next generation of political and public service leaders.”

Over 200 students, faculty, and administrators came together to discuss issues from voting rights to climate change. Through our initiative, the community had an opportunity to meet each other, share stories, and build connections on and off campus during an eventful year, when the pandemic, a presidential election, and issues around social justice and equity were demanding the nation’s attention.

Here’s what the client had to say about working with us:

“With undergraduate and graduate school alumni joining from the class of 2015 to the class of 2020, participants had the chance to meet new members and share some of their advice on how to get involved in elections. The evening reminded members of some favorite UChicago memories of getting together and discussing the importance of voting and participating in our democracy.”
